Senior IT Engineer

Worldwide, Remote

As a Senior IT Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end (technical and business) management of the Company Core infrastructure.

Required activities and tasks:

  • Design and manage identity management self-service or directly manage access right across various on-premise systems and cloud platforms

  • Maintain – or automate - group membership management especially for on and offboarding

  • Implement policies and ensure security compliance

  • Manage and plan budget of cloud and other infrastructure resources

  • Monitor to ensure the effective use of resources and subscriptions

  • Support the remote operations team in hosted hardware and local network operations

  • Ensure that internal IT effectively and securely supports day to day operation

  • Act as the responsible owner of hardware and software equipment

  • Explore and implement available/required new features

  • Close cooperation and communication with internal stakeholders

  • Managing strategic changes of the infrastructure

  • Strive to develop innovations/integrations that serve the company strategy

Requirements:

  • Experience with MacOS, BSD, Solaris, AIX systems, Windows, O365 systems.

  • Working knowledge with SSL/TLS, X509 certificates and PKI

  • Good knowledge of protocols, including networking (e.g. TCP, UDP) and application layer (e.g. DNS, DHCP) protocols

  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills with relevant tooling knowledge

  • Passionate to work with Linux systems while also feeling at home on Windows

  • Knowledge of scripting languages: shell, perl, python, powershell

  • Experience in information security and optionally having a CISA, CISSP or similar certification

  • Qualification: BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field

  • Professional experience: min. 5 years

  • Language: fluent English skills (oral and written)
